New Worship Time
Dayspring is moving from 10 to 10:30AM for our worship service starting February 4. Sunday School will continue to meet at 9AM.
Special First Feast!
Next Sunday, Feb. 4th, we’ll feast together, as usual, on the first Sunday of the month, but you don’t need to bring food! A feast will be provided for you by the Barnes family. Instead of food, we’re asking everyone to contribute $5/person or $20/family. All proceeds will benefit Pastor Robert and Kim’s mission trip to Uganda. During the feast, Robert and Kim will tell you more about their upcoming trip and how you can be involved.
The yearly Congregation Meeting of Dayspring PCA will be February 11, 2018 following worship. We will look at the budget for 2018 and discuss our plans for Dayspring. We will also discuss a matter relating to church discipline. We will have lunch, but COMMIT will not be held that day.
C.H. Sprugeon said, “Prayer meetings are the throbbing machinery of the church.” Whatever our church lacks, we believe the key to understanding and obtaining it is a renewed dedication to dependent, faith-full prayers to God. Meet with us every Friday at 8am in the Media Room at Dayspring for guided prayer for our people, our church, and our world.
The Church of Today
A Bible study for our youth begins on January 31 at the Jackson’s home in Brooksville at 6:30pm. This is for youth 12-18, and parents are invited to stick around. Location will alternate between Brooksville and the church. Talk to Keith Jackson for more details.
Do you have a prayer request or other need to share with congregation? Would you like an announcement in the bulletin or otherwise disseminated? Kim Barnes is working to improve and streamline our congregational communication using email, social media,
and texting. If you have something you want communicated to your church family, please let her know. And of course you can always post on our Facebook group. You can contact Kim at email@example.com or (352) 293-3277.
